    Bella Hadid addresses those plastic surgery rumours

    Bella Hadid may be one of the world’s most famous models, but she’s still copped a lot of criticism about her looks. Now, the model has opened up about beauty, confidence and bullying in a recent interview with InStyle US.

    Bella Hadid has shut down the plastic surgery rumours that run rampant about her.

    “People think I got all this surgery or did this or that. And you know what? We can do a scan of my face, darling. I’m scared of putting fillers into my lips. I wouldn’t want to mess up my face,” she told InStyle.

    But Bella hasn’t always possessed that level of confidence. In fact, growing up, she felt awkward and self-conscious compared to her older sister (model Gigi Hadid) who was always athletic and even had a six-pack.

    “I thought I had such a weird face,” she said. “I remember very distinctly getting bullied because of my features.”

    But through the years she's learned to overcome her insecurities. And as a 21-year-old, she has a very mature attitude towards bullies and online trolls.

    "I want to write them, ‘If you’re going through something, I want to be there for you.’ There’s obviously something deeper going on. I know it’s not about me personally," she said. "We all have our stuff to overcome, and that’s what I want to preach to the kids these days. I went through a serious depression last year, and I think it stemmed from when I was younger and [being bullied by] the kids in school. And now, I guess I shouldn’t be as self-conscious—people tell me that every day—but it’s a personal thing. We all go through it because we’re human."

    As TUD said, bullying normally stems from jealousy. She's very pretty surgery or not. I'm not sure though, unless she really knows how to work her angles and makeup she has a different face from a few years ago.

    I've looked at before and after photos and it's hard to say - makeup can make a big difference and why would a 21 yo need plastic surgery?

    Good on her. It's hard to overcome being bullied. Most of the time it [bullying] stems from jealousy anyway.
