WATCH: What happens when you get your brows tattooed
I promised my mother I would never swear on camera or get a tattoo. But both of these promises were broken when I decided to get feather touch brow tattooing.
It was something I’d been thinking of doing for a while, and after learning more about what it feels like and how long it lasts, I booked my consultation appointment.
This is where the video above begins, and we filmed it ALL so that you could see exactly what’s involved (including a mild freak-out from yours truly and the amazing before and afters). It’s really worth a watch if you’re considering having it done yourself.
Selena from Elegant Lashes was my cosmetic tattooist and she did a fabulous job. You can book an appointment with her through the website, which also gives a rundown on prices.
And if you have any questions about my experience with brow tattooing, please leave them in the comment section below!
Are you interested in cosmetic tattooing? What did you think of Sam’s results?

I'd be hesitant. Too permanent if you don't like the results and the cost as well. Good luck to those who try, I hope it works well for you.

Not for me but interesting to watch it being done.

I've been wondering about this because my brows need a lot of help but the cost has put me off having it done. I'll just keep on using brow enhancing products.

Well thank you Sam for trialing out brow tattooing and breaking a couple of home rules for the BH community.

I had my brows microbladded nearly a year ago before my wedding and it was a life changer lol. It saves you so much time when you're getting ready and doing your make up. It did hurt when she did certain strokes where the numbing cream obviously hadn't worked as well but over all I would definitely do it again when I have the money in the future. Time is everything right? Especially when you work as a nurse and start when the sun rises- anything for a new extra minutes of shut eye!

Those results look awesome, but I'm a bit too scared to get it done myself!

I had my brows tattooed about a year ago. They still look good. Every now & then I feel the need to go and have my brows tinted (pesky little white ones). Afterwards they are back to looking amazing. Well worth it.

My daughter only mentioned this today and I know why she hasn't yet done it - the cost! She can buy a lot of eyebrow pencils (even the MAC ones) for that cost and her brows are quite ok. But it would be ideal for her as she'd like them a little darker with a bit of fill in. Save up!
This video would put anyone at ease who is interested in it but no idea what's involved. Good to know it wasn't the needle tattooing I was picturing.

I want to try this someday. I hate filling in my brows. Some places make it look so natural

This is a definite treatment I would pass. I'm happy she didn't experience pain, but I'm just as happy sticking to a brow pencil and periodic trips to purchase the product.

A lot of friends have had this done, but I still think it looks unnatural as they way too dark

I love them. I had a look at the website, but unfortunately it is in Sydney. I would love to go to one in Victoria that offers a variety of techniques as I'm looking at the combo effect. Does anyone here have any recommendations for Melb/Vic?

I'd love to see a follow up with this in a few weeks and maybe 6 months, to see how they're looking! Such great video though!!

My brows are fairly thick, so no need for tattooing...........and I'm a bit phobic about needles, I don't think I could handle a needle so close to my eyes!

I think I might leave my natural brows alone at the moment but in the future, who knows! It looks fantastic on Sam though. I think I'd just be a bit of a scaredy cat.

A great video showing the detail of it, though not something I would have done.
