Best in Beauty 2012 - luxe

The Best in Beauty awards are back for another year! In case you’ve forgotten what they’re all about, here’s a quick reminder: they’re kind of like the Hollywood Hall of Fame, where we honour some of the best beauty legends to ever grace our face (and body, and hair, and nails, and…everywhere, really). ”¨”¨
Just like our Glosscar awards, the Best in Beauty awards honour an outstanding product in each category. The only difference is that the products up for nomination don’t have to be launched within the last year, so you can vote for your longtime favourites and ultimate Holy Grail products in the hope that they go home with a gorgeously glossy award.
The nominations
Beautyheaven invited the beauty industry to nominate award-worthy products within a range of beauty categories. To be eligible for Best in Beauty nomination, products must be available for review on beautyheaven.com.au.
Ӭ
How to vote
We've gathered the nominations together, now its up to you to be the judge! Just like you’d do for the Glosscar awards, simply submit a review and star rating for your favourite nominees and the star rating will count as points towards the coveted award. In addition to this, we also ask that you submit votes in a secret ballot (so that the winners will remain top secret until the big reveal). In the secret ballot, you have the opportunity to award three nominated products the following secret points: ”¨
1 x 20 point voteӬ
1 x 10 point voteӬ
1 x 5 point voteӬӬ
These three extra special votes should go to products you’re seriously silly over and would love to see win a Best in Beauty award. Please note you will only have the opportunity to vote in the secret ballot once, and you must vote for three different nominated products (from any category) for your secret ballot to be counted. ”¨”¨
The product in each category with the highest number of points (from star ratings and secret votes) at the end of the voting period will be awarded a 2012 Best in Beauty award. Should a tie occur, reviews for the product/s in question will be considered, and a winner determined by beautyheaven's editorial team.
Please note: if you have previously reviewed a product (before September 9, 2012) that’s now nominated but feel it’s worthy of a Best in Beauty award, you are able to submit a second review.
Voting is exclusive to registered beautyheaven members (not yet a member? Sign up here now!).
Voting closes at midnight on Sunday 30th September 2012.
Vote to win!
Want to win the ultimate in beauty booty? Once the votes have been cast we’ll be giving away packs containing every winning product, in every category to 15 lucky members! These must-have goodie packs are valued on average at over $1500 each, and will be awarded to the 15 members who we believe have contributed the most valuable (quality, not necessarily quantity!) reviews throughout the voting process. (Please note: voting is only open to beautyheaven members from beauty fanatic upwards. At this time, votes from beauty lover members will not be counted. If you are currently a beauty lover, start reviewing products, commenting on blogs, sharing articles, and posting in the forums so you move up the ranks!) ”¨”¨What are you waiting for? The whole Estee Lauder Re-nurtriv range is excellent. It literally knocks years off the way you look. My nan is over 84 and because of this stuff doesn't look a day over 70.
