5 organic concealers that are good for your skin

Have you ever considered going organic with your makeup? Natural makeup is kind to sensitive skin as it’s free from all of the nasties that can cause irritations. Instead, the products are packed full of natural ingredients that’ll care for your skin while allowing you to look absolutely fabulous.
Even if you don’t have sensitive skin, you’re still doing that complexion of yours a favour by exposing it to natural and nourishing ingredients.
Organic concealers will work wonders to cover and conceal blemishes and pigmentation while ensuring you’re not doing any damage to your skin. It’s a win-win situation. You can expect your organic concealer to be free from chemicals, wax, and preservatives. They’re free from parabens, phthalates and talc.
Here are some of our favourite organic concealers:

Inika Certified Organic Concealer
Not only will the INIKA Organic Certified Organic Perfection Concealer help hide imperfections, blemishes, and dark circles, it’ll also get rid of your lines and wrinkles! Okay, so it may only look like it does that last bit – natural minerals in the concealer produce light-reflecting properties that help reduce the appearance of your fine lines. That’s still pretty damn impressive!
jane iredale Circle/Delete Concealer

Dark under-eye circles are the worst. No matter how much sleep you’ve had, you still look like you haven’t slept for three hundred years. The jane iredale Circle/Delete Concealer in shade #2 features a light and medium peach concealer to help erase any signs of purple tones and dark circles. Plus, vitamin K works to repair blood vessels and fade hyperpigmentation.
Lavera Natural Concealer, $33, nourishedlife.com.au
Having some problems with dark circles? Then the Lavera Natural Concealer is about to become your new best friend. Besides being 100 percent natural, this concealer also works to counteract any redness, leaving you with a flawless and fabulous complexion.
RMS BEAUTY “Un” Cover-up, $52, mecca.com.au
The lightweight formula works to reveal and enhance healthier looking skin, instead of just covering it up. The RMS Beauty “Un” Cover-Up hydrates whilst minimising the appearance of pores. And even better? You can be delighted in the fact it still allows your skin to breathe. Miranda Kerr also counts this product as one of her favourites, as she mentioned in an interview with Into the Gloss.
Dr. Hauschka Concealer, $35, drhauschka.com.au
Who doesn’t love a bit of nifty packaging with their organic concealer? Just twist and blend away those under-eye circles, blemishes, and spots. Not only will you love how the Dr. Hauschka Concealer makes your skin look, you’ll also love how the combination of macadamia and jojoba oils, shea butter and calendula makes your skin feel.

Find the perfect concealer seems to be one of the trickiest things to do! I personally use my two favourite concealers (different brands) and mix them together in a little pot and that works for me.

I didn't realise that the jane iredale concealer was organic. The last organic concealer I used was a little too dark for me and it was the lightest shade from that brand :(

I wasn't aware that the Jane Iredale brand was organic either.
Technically, all these concealers are inorganic as they all contain iron oxides/titanium oxides/zinc oxides.
That’s from a chemistry perspective. Hehe.

True. You can also be technical regarding organic food too... food is organic :)

Definitely. I use the terms “pesticide free” and “without chemical inputs” but wait... water is a chemical. Life is chemicals! ;)

I have been using different concealers but they don’t really work on my skin. I think it’s time I tried organic concealers!
