You scrub up all right
The product: hand scrub
You want: beautifully soft skin and revitalised-looking hands
You don’t want: scratched or irritated skin
Sounds like a pretty simple request to us! To avoid scratching or irritating your skin when using a hand scrub, you need to be a little bit discerning when choosing and using your scrub…
1.) To start, opt for a hand scrub that contains micro-granules or small, rounded grains/beads, as these are less likely to be too harsh for your skin.
2.) Next, ensure that said granules/beads are housed in a super-rich, skin soothing lotion. Ingredients like essential oils, vitamin E, chamomile, calendula and soy are known for their nourishing and calming properties, so look out for those within the formula.
3.) When it comes time to use your hand scrub, be gentle – simply massage the scrub into your hand using light, circular motions. The granules/beads will do the hard work for you, so there’s really no need to pull or roughly rub your skin.
4.) Limit your hand scrubs to twice a week, and always follow with a slathering of hydrating hand cream. If your hands still feel dry and rough, invest in an ultra-rich treatment hand cream and apply every day, as often as you like.
