Beautyheaven says:
The Aveda Dry Remedy™ Daily Moisturizing Oil is a daily leave-in hair treatment that contains Buriti oil, which is designed to deeply hydrate dry, damaged hair. The lightweight formula is suitable for use on even the finest hair without leaving it feeling weighed down or greasy and can be used on wet or dry hair.
Members trialling the oil found that it was successful in taming frizzy hair and controlling flyaways, especially when used in conjunction with the Aveda Dry Remedy™ Shampoo and Conditioner. While some members found that the packaging proved difficult to extract the oil, others thought this meant it was a fantastic way to prevent wastage and proved to be great value for money. Most members were surprised that the Aveda Dry Remedy™ Daily Moisturizing Oil didn’t make their hair feel ‘heavy’ or ‘weighed down’ when applied to damp hair as other oils tend to do. Though, some members did find that their hair felt slightly greasy when the oil was applied straight to dry hair. Although some members found the scent of the oil slightly strong, the majority of members loved the fresh, natural smell, which reminded them of an ‘amazing herbal mix that smells just like a day spa.’

I've only ever tried buriti oil on my body, I’m curious as to what it would be like on my scalp.

Yes, have definitely seen it there. Neem oil is a famous ingredient for hair remedies in India. The leaft juice is also suppose to be great in terms of health benefits but taste horrible.

Wonderful, I've never tried hair oil before. I have quite thick hair so it is nice to hear it is good for thin hair and won't weigh it down.
