i was at specsavers today looking for a new frame and i was so impressed with Alex Perry's new collection for specsavers. I think if u wear glasses its worth checking his new collection. its just awesome.
Thanks for that Rabi, I need to get my eyes checked and will need updated frames, so I might take a look at Alex's frames, they look good on the ad on the telly.
My set of glasses before my current were both AP, they looked great but they were very heavy which I struggled with and they slipped down a lot. Got lighter metal frames this time. But they do look fab! ;)
I wal past spec savers everyday an I see the ad in the window but haven't had a look. I might need to tho as my fiance sat on my glasses! Lol
Hey Blondie I love your glasses really COOL!!
I have a pair of his glasses, they are really cute and dont make you look like a granny! you will want to wear your glasses!
In need of new glasses. I always see the ad and they look great. I'm not sure if that's because of the models in it! But will be going this afternoon to try on a pair :)
I own a pair of Alex Perry glasses from Specsavers and I love them! I got it as a part of the 2 for $199 deal that they have and I find that there are a range of styles and frames to suit every face shape and taste. I have plain black frames with gold detailing and 'Alex Perry' engraved at the hinges. Really chic and simple!
Maybe I should go and check them out. In the past couple of months I've been popping in to different eye stores looking for a new pair of frames, but not finding anything I like. I can't wear heavy frames because I have light hair and blue eyes and thick glasses just overwhelm me.
oh thanks for the heads up. I'm due for a new pair, always go to specsavers :)
Where it is located? I need to check that.
SpecSavers have a really great, affordable line at the moment. I got two pairs - one pair of Alex Perry sunglasses, and one pair of Colette Dinnigan clear glasses and they were both covered by medicare - really stylish and comfy :)
Red or Dead have a fantastic collection of really funky and totally wearable frames and are available from Specsavers.
Love my alex perry glasses, finally stylish and affordable glasses!
Bought a pair of Alex Perry prescription glasses. They just caused me more trouble than they are worth. For one the Lens kept falling out and I had to get it fixed about 8 times - and this is with normal everyday use!!!
My hair and clothes kept getting caught in the hinge. Strangely I have never had these issues before for the past 10 years that I have been using glasses . Just shows the cheap quality of glasses that Alex Perry is putting his name to NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL
I'm due for my new pair of glasses so I might have a look.
Ha! Funny that this thread exists! I got new glasses in January and I really loved my Alex Perry glasses until I got them home and wore them for a week. It took that long to realise that even though they looked great, they were the flimsiest pair of glasses I've owned in the 30 years that I've been wearing glasses. I can't wait for the new financial year so I can get a new pair for when (not 'if') they break. It's a shame because looks-wise, they're one of my favourites.
Sadly you get what you pay for with Spec savers. When it comes to the 'brands' they sell they actually just buy the rights to the name of the brand. So just because it is Alex Perry or Collette Dinnagin or whatever really means nothing. Unfortunately the quality isn't there, which is not surprising when you realise no other optometrist can get close to matching the prices. It's a shame really because they have some lovely looking frames.
I have used the original proactiv products in the past with great success but never gave the proactiv+ products much thought because they had tried to phase out benzoyl peroxide and replaced it wit
