Hi beauties,
I want to do an article on women sharing their favourite mascara of all time and why, and who knows their beauty better than the beautyheaven members?
If you wouldn't mind posting below your ride or die mascara, as well as why you love it, I would be eternally grateful.

Definitely feels effective
This product is based on plant stem cells! Such a great concept. Andalou is an American company, cruelty free and vegan, so good! Packaging is simole. And clean looking.
Delicious smell

Thanks Jess for this article. I can't recommend anything as I just use what I can but would love to see the end results of our beauty heaven members and their recommendations.
One of my all times faves is Benefit They're real because of the way it defines & lifts my lashes. I find this is probably the one I keep going back to that curls my lashes and makes them look long & fanned out not many others keep my lashes curled .
Also L'Oréal Paris Volume Million Lashes Mascara this is my day to day subtle look that is not over the top and has great definition but still gives your eyes that pop.
I can't wait to see what others post as mascara is my fave beauty item but I'm so fussy with them too.
Loreal Lash Paradise is my mascara obsession, I have tried hundreds of different brands across the years and it is hands down the best I have discovered so far, my lashes are short, sparse and fine in colour and not only does it draw compliments (which is huge for me because my lashes are naturally so visibly non existent) but I have been asked if I had gotten eyelash extensions! It transforms my mini lashes into long, fluttery lashes and stays put all day! Love it ♡
Really like L'Oreal Paris False Lash X-Fiber Mascara having the primer at one end and the lash mascara at the other prefer the waterproof formula. Does an excellent job with my lashes.
Easy to remove with Waterproof makeup wipes.
At the moment I’m using BareMinerals Lash Domination Petite Precision Mascara. I really love it. It’s got a small brush which makes it easier to apply. I don’t like mascaras with huge brushes. I’m a great lover of everything BareMinerals and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone. I’ll definitely be buying another tube when this one runs out.
I also love Benefit They’re Real, but it’s very expensive. It does live up to the hype and does what it promises though, and I’ve been through several tubes over the years.
I have sensitive eyes and find that drugstore mascaras tend to irritate them, so I have to be selective with what I use. I haven’t had any issues at all with the BareMinerals.
Maybelline Falsies! It really does give that flash lash look and really opens up my eyes
Too faced better than sex mascara honestly is it gives me the fake lash vibe I get asked what type of lashes I'm wearing, uhh yeah baby, I will try to get another one.
I reckon the best mascara I've ever used is Benefit Roller Lash, but it's so expensive I rarely buy it.
I like one that doesn't smudge (cause I often find myself swimming or in the water unexpectedly!) and the Clinique Lash Power Mascara is a goodie, never smudging and I can wear it to the beach. I also love the McoBeauty Waterproof Full Lash Mascara as it performs like the Clinique one and it is so affordable too.
I’ve used a couple of Clinique mascaras and I’ve really liked them.
Poni The White Knight tubing mascara , two options for length and volume. Easy to apply, doesn't clump and so easy to remove with water, no panda eyes using this. Costs about $30. My eyes are quite sensitive but I don't have an issue using this.
I like the Clinique High Impact Mascara. I find that it’s a drier formula which I prefer. It doesn’t irritate my eyes or transfer which is great.
I got a sample of the Chanel Le Volume Mascara when my friend bought a perfume and I love that one but it is a bit expensive.
I’ll second that! I got David Jones vouchers for my birthday a few years back, and I spent them on Chanel goodies. Total luxury! You certainly do get what you pay for.
Not really. I got mascara for 74 bucks and the one I got for 10 (half price) beats it in every way. When an outsider, without knowing which cost more , points out the better one...Just do the test. Paint one eye with one being 70-100 bucks worth...then the other with same one coat that costs you in priceline or CW half price for 10 bucks. Ask stranger which one performs better, gives better result.
Placebo aside.
Totally agree. One of my favourite luxe mascaras.
In my rotation are faaab 5 mascaras:
Budget:
Revlon So Fierce! - lengthens lashes amazingly well! Brush has very stiff plastic bristles, so the formula will coat every single lash, no mater of how tiny it is. This gives look of more lashes as well. I can use only one coat, as more will be an overkill, mascara is really really good! Glides over lash, not sticking them together and no clumps, not the tiniest one. Been stopped today and asked what mascara I am using. Holds curl all day. Easy to remove with water. Smudge free. CAn be used for falsies effect.
Mid end:
MAC Bold and Bad Lash - has 2 brushes. Small one for lower lashes and corners or tiny detail work, when I want to enhance the length concentrating on the tips. Each lash coated. Zero clumps. Length enhanced. Again, one coat for me enough. Holds curl. No flaking. Fab every day mascara!
Better than Sex Too Faced - curls, lengthens, coats each lash, no clumps, lasts all day , no flaking, fast to apply as the formula just glides on from root to tip in one go.
High end:
Dior Diorshow Iconic Overcurl - curved wand, gives me cull even without curler. Holds the curl all day. Thicker formula than those above, but still no clumping. Bold, so I use one coat as well. Gives length and thickness.
Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara - Stays put all day without smudging, flaking. No clumps. Smooth formula coats each lash with precision, giving length, definition and effect of more lashes as well as it coats each smallest lash without sticking them together. Holds curl as well (I use curler with it and other mascaras but Dior one).
Looove a good mascara. If it does not do all I want and even a bit lacks in performance, I toss them. These are in my rotation as they are all so fab! Revlon one, woooowza!
OMG......I’m just browsing Mecca, and I’ve come across a new addition to their site, name I haven’t heard of before. Westman Atelier. It’s $95!
Edit......there’s also a Chantecaile one for $110.
That’s just crazy!
L'oreal Butterfly Sculpt mascaras. I find the wand is the best at accessing even the smallest of lashes.
Loreal Paradise Mascara and Loreal Volume Million Lashes Feline Mascara are my go-to mascaras!
clinique lash power mascara - even a mascara dummy like me can't go wrong with it. Recommended to me by SJ and now I love it A close second would be the Bad girl bang by Benefit
My fav is still Estée Lauder double wear mascara. I wish i could find a cheaper one I like as much haha
