Celeb perfumes...are you OVER them ?
Well,on the back of the announcement that Nicole Ritchie has launched her debut fragrance,i had to ask....ARE YOU OVER ALL THESE "CELEBS " SPRUIKING THEIR NEW SCENTS ?It seems that every other day, some well known "someone " has a new fragrance out, just waiting for us to part with our hard earned on it hoping we will want a little piece of them in our lives. Now don,t get me wrong...i ,ll admit to having a bottle of "Jenny from the block" or two in my reportoire ("Glow" and "Miami Glow " are ones i actually like....not because of the name behind it,but because i really do like the fragrances )and i have Jen Aniston,s fragrance (again, because i actually like the scent, but once the bottle is empty i won,t rush to get it again )and if you tell me my girl crush Angelina is bringing out a scent.....I,LL RUN,LEAVING CATHY FREEMAN IN MY WAKE TO GET THAT,BUT i don,t buy because of a celeb endorsement (,even Justin Bieber for God,s sake has a scent....WTH ?)Do you miss old school fragrance houses bringing out scents,or are you happy to have Paris,Justin, any Kardashion etc fragrancing you ?

Game changer for my skin
Thank you BH for an opportunity to try this product as I would never have bought this otherwise.
Mixed feelings
I received a sample of this product to try. I was excited as I love John Frieda products and I'm always looking for that next best thing.
Helps with reducing the lifespan of pimples
I haven’t used Proactiv products before as I worry about the reaction on my skin. I received this Proactiv 3 step kit from beautyheaven (thank you BH!) to trial so I thought it’s now or never.

As much as I love the actual scent of many celeb fragrances (not to mention the affordable price) I dont find they last very long at all. Its a shame really as it tarnishes their reputation too. Mind you it has taken quite a few purchases to learn my lesson. Just another success for celebs I guess
I judge my purchase on the scent as I have a lot of non-celebrity and celebrity fragrances, I absolutely love rhianna's perfumes and I also brought another beyonce fragrance recently because I tested it at the shop and loved the smell_. I don't really care who is endorsing it as long as it suits me and has a nice scent then I am hooked.
For me, it depends on who it is, is it someone I adore, is it someone I like their music?
I've always been so disappointed by celebrity perfumes. I also lived with a girl at uni who wore one of the Britney Spears ones. And when I say "wore", I actually mean "marinaded in".
I find a lot of the female celeb scents smell too fruity and sugary. Not my style at all.
I was so disappointed byDita Von Teese's perfumes. I was expecting something sultry and musky and old-school, but it just smellt like the rest of the celeb perfumes; like a skanky teenage girl.
Yes totally over them! :) Always the classics for me.
I make a point never to buy celeb perfumes! They are rarely to my liking and often smell sickly sweet, in my opinion. Especially Katy Perry, etc. They're sometimes quite tacky.
I used to use these celebrity perfumes when I was younger but now I'm older I prefer the classics. Gone off celebrity products
I never get tired of celebrity perfumes. I love perfumes from Beyonce, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, and Justin Bieber.
I'm very neutral when it comes to this. Some of them smell absolutely amazing and others are just so overrated.
Yes! TBH I guess I have not given them a proper go but they all smell so sweet and do not last, they are so done!
Have to say I'm abit of perfume whore and go a little mental when there is specials or deals.. (and unfortunately a lot are celebrity endorsed)...
But I love the selection and being able to wear something different every day.
I find that a lot of them smell too sweet. I suppose they are aimed at pre teens/teens. I used to love the Britney one back in the day - but that's probably because I was young, it was cheap and I loved her.
The only one I do own is Lovely by SJP. It's one of my all time favourite fragrances, but aside from that I feel too old for them.
absolutely; who cares about their fame and name. I'm not keen on making them richer.

Some of them are nice but they don't seem to last, and they seem to bring out a new one every week, it's too much to even keep up! I must admit (almost embarrassingly) I love the bottle that the new bling Paris Hilton fragrance comes in. It is so pretty! But her scents seem to be way to sickly, the ones I have smelt have seemed to almost smell a little soapy.
It's awesome there are so many top celebrity perfumes. If there wasn't so many people would miss out. I'm a fan of many celebrities and to have their perfume is special.
Yes I'm over them. Seems each day another one has a special perfume. Nothing to do with value or quality.
There is no way I will own another celeb perfume. I used to have Curious many years ago. But so over these
I used Kylie's "Darling" for years because it was a nice scent and within my budget. Now that my budget has gotten a bit roomier I don't think I'd ever get a celebrity perfume again unless I was REALLY in love with the scent.
I know it sounds vain and ridiculous but I think part of perfume is also what you want to EXUDE apart from just smelling like something you enjoy yourself... and if my perfume was written on my forehead I'd much rather walk around with "Burberry" on my forehead than "Kim Kardashian", LOL.
Yes. I prefer designers e.g. Gucci.
nah-ah, I love me some Ari by Ariana Grande... the packaging is phenomenal!
