Hi all. I wanna know which blender would be good for smoothies and also to powder the spices. I had one which i had bought abroad .. but it doesnt work now. I'm considering nutribullet but i read mixed reviews. What do u guys think?
I've got a Ninja and I really love it!!! It grinds up anything you throw in it... The only downside is you have to take the O ring out otherwise it moulds and gets gross... Ha ha!!! I heard a lot of bad things about Nutribullet and went for the Ninja brand... No complaints touch wood...
Hi Ess Elle I have the nutriinfusion which is similar to the nutribullet I think in size and it's good for if just one person wants a smoothie but it's not as powerful as my big blender which is the Sunbeam Cafe Series and also we have a big family (of 5) so this bigger Sunbeam Cafe Series is plenty big enough to make something for several of us all in one go. It's also better at mixing and blending everything more evenly (really smoothly!) and it has special buttons specifically made just for, say, a smoothie drink or a pre-wash cleaning button etc so it does a better job in those ways too. It crushes ice much better and quicker than the nutri-infusion too. Hope this helps!
I've got a Ronson Pro Duo Processor & Blender 500, I've had it for many year's actually a really long time just lately I've been making some smoothies it works like a gem the processor haven't used it in a while but the last time I used it was a couple year's ago it still goes great, I haven't had any problems with this product since I've had it :)
I have a sunbeam which is a cheaper alternative if you don’t use it every day. I’ve had it about two years without a problem. It comes with two bottles and lids which is handy and you can put them in the dishwasher which is even handier!
I got a Kenwood Blitz Pro last week, hate it! Do not buy it..... I wish I’d put my money into something else.
I have a nutritionist bullet and no complaints.
Hey would it powder the spices too??
Thank you y'all! Gosh never thought these blenders were harder than picking clothes
I have an Omniblend and it is the BEST blender I've ever had! I bought it to replace my Sunbeam after it died on me while I was making hummus. I had to throw the blender, hummus and all straight into the bin. :(
Before that I had a KitchenAid. Omniblend beats them both hands down. It's really durable and it blends great. If/when it dies I'll replace it with another Omniblend. It's simple and streamlined in its control panel, but it's very sturdy, reliable and effective. Highly recommend it as a slightly more affordable and equally reliable option to Vitamix. Excellent for smoothies, mylks, soups, etc, but if it's spices and small volume grinds you're after, it might be worth getting a coffee/spice grinder as well. They're really cheap. Blenders are where you want to invest a bit of money unless you want to risk crying over half blended hummus. :(
I saw the topic title and I was going to suggest "BeautyBlender". And then realised it's about the real (food) blender.
LOL. No constructive contribution - sorry. I don't really cook. We have a KMart $25 stick blender for my bub's baby food.
Lol the beauty blender would work about as well as my new Kenwood blender - poorly!
I just bought a NutriBullet magic bullet blender and it's awesome ! Easy clean can blend everything frozen .. Large hard veggies . Plus you drink right from the same container you did the blending in haha on sale at good guys right now.
I bought the NutriBullet 1000w about one month ago and I have used it a minimum of twice a day- it's unreal! The best thing is that it's so simple and quick to clean it doesn't slow down your morning / afternoon routines. You can always find on sale too.
I have NutriBullet! It’s amazing and I got it on special.
I have mature acne prone skin (still!) that gets congested and feels blurgh every so often. This is my go to scrub/mask to restore my skin to feeling normal and 'clean'.
This was a great eye product! The results speak for them self! I was so happy to see an improvement just after using the product constantly for a week.
L'oreal Elvive Extraordinary Clay Detox shampoo comes in the usual packaging and the color is different and attractive to me. It has a slight smell that does not linger for long after wash.
