Soak away stained nails

There’s nothing worse than a ghastly yellow toenail to put you off wearing your strappy shoes. Get rid of stained nails with a simple daily foot soak of warm water with a cup of vinegar and a dozen drops of tea tree oil. Finish by soaking a cotton wool ball in tea tree and applying directly to the nail. Discolouration and yellowing should start to fade within a couple of weeks of using the foot bath. In the meantime, treat the cause of the problem by consulting your GP about a foot care fungal treatment.

Didn't think about putting tea tree oil into the soak but that sounds like a good idea

I found if my nails were yellowing, it was originally from not using a base coat. Now it is definitely from leaving a nail polish on for too long. Got to let your nails breathe too!

Yellowing skin/toe nails are a sure sign of some infection. Not very pleasant.

Weird, I thought stained toenails were the result of not wearing a base coat. If it's a fungal issue, one should definitely treat that with an anti fungal treatment.
