5 seriously awesome shower hacks

Are you making the most of your daily shower?
If you’re limiting yourself to the basic hair washing, body scrubbing and shaving, your routine is about to be stepped up big time.
Not only are there now in-shower products that can do things you’d never even dreamed of, but there’s also a few tricks to make your time more efficient.
In-shower hack #1 - Store your products in a shoe hanger
Do you have so many products in your shower caddy or on the floor that it takes twice as long to find the right one? Depending on the design of your shower, try hanging a mesh shoe hanger on either your shower curtain (inside or outside - whichever you prefer) or if it’s big enough, on one of the screen doors. This way, even if you have 15 products in your shower, you’ll be able to separate and see all of them clearly for your choosing. Not to mention they won’t accumulate scum on the floor!

In-shower hack #2 - Top up your tan
Tanaholics all over the world rejoice - you can now achieve a golden glow IN the shower. St Tropez’s Gradual Tan In Shower can be applied straight after body wash and you only need to leave it on for three minutes before rinsing it off. That’s about the same time as your standard hair mask, so you might as well use your time to do both!
In-shower hack #3 - Brush your teeth in the shower
Most of you probably already do this one, but you’d be amazed at the amount who don’t! So if you’re part of the latter, get ready for your world to be rocked. Not only does brushing your teeth in the shower wisely use the time it takes as you wait for your face mask to set, but the feeling of cleanliness is unbelievable. Most showers can fit a toothbrush with toothpaste at the ready on the top ledge - so go forth now and brush wisely.
In-shower hack #4 - Never miss moisturising again
According to a survey by Vaseline, only 45 per cent of women moisturise daily, with many saying it’s because they run out of time to do so. If that sounds like you, you need Nivea In Shower Rich Body Lotion in your shower ASAP. It will glide over your wet skin in the shower, leaving skin smooth and hydrated with minimal effort and time. Or keep Vaseline Rapid Moisture Spray Advanced Strength just outside your shower and apply it on slightly damp skin (after a quick once over with the towel). The combo of the easy spray nozzle and slightly moist skin will take no time to cover every inch.
In-shower hack #5 - Add music to your morning wash
If you can’t go without a shower in the morning to help wake you up, add your favourite music to the mix for an even happier and quicker way to perk up. You don’t even need a stereo or iPod deck, simply pop your phone into your dry sink to amplify the sound.

Brushing your teeth in the shower wastes so much water. Definitely don’t like this hack.
I like the shoe older idea, but my shower doesn’t have a rail to hand it on. :(
I do the music thing, but as much as it’s an energiser it’s also my shower timer—one song only.
