The lowdown on chewing gum

Chewing gum isn’t only for rebels and looking cool. Chew a piece of minty gum after eating a large meal – it will neutralise your breath and promote digestion or pop a piece of calcium-enriched gum to maintain oral health. Remember that there are appropriate times to chew and not to chew: chewing gum in a meeting, interview or at special event can be a big no-no.

I love Gum and appreciate a minty fresh breath feeling after eating or just to freshen up. Also don’t mind a piece to trick my brain when I’m really hungry for no apparent reason.

I used to chew gum, yet stopped after studying my nutrition certificate for a few months. Agree with Yohanna who lists all of the nasties in gum. Nope.

I wish I liked gum but I can't stand chewing for the sake of chewing.
