How-to: give yourself a luxe body treatment

Feel like indulging in a body treatment but don’t want to leave the comfort of your own home? Well, that’s no problem thanks to La Mer and The Essential Body Collection, which is bursting with luxury body products that will leave your entire body feeling soft, smooth, and luxuriously pampered.
La Mer The Essential Body Collection combines the luxury of The Body Crème, The Body Refiner, The Hand Treatment, and The Lip Balm.
And just because we want to make extra sure your body treatment goes perfectly to plan, here’s how to best use the luxury body products found in the La Mer The Essential Body Collection kit:
1) The Body Refiner – once or twice a week, massage the body treatment into your skin in circular motions until the large particles aren’t as noticeable. Rinse off and follow with La Mer The Body Créme.
2) The Body Crème – don’t just rub the moisturiser into your skin. Massage the moisuriser into your skin slowly. This will improve circulation and leave your skin feeling (and looking) radiant.
3) The Hand Treatment – don’t forget your hands when it comes to your at-home body treatment! La Mer The Hand Treatment should be massaged into hands to help combat dryness and restore circulation. Make sure to rub some on your heels and elbows too to eliminate any rough patches.
4) The Lip Balm – apply the lip balm in a light, patting motion onto lips and wait a few minutes before applying a lip colour.

We all can afford a do it at home pampering, with so many good products out there. I do and the key is allow yourself time and dont rush. I do the entire face first, whilst leaving the mask on I then start on exfoliating the whole body. I know it isnt the same as someone else doing it but the results are the same and you save money. Saving money allows you to purchase a product you would not normally buy especially if it is a bit dearer. Good luck.

I love a great massage, if only my husband enjoyed giving them to me. Unfortunately I have to visit the local thai massage to get my fix.

I swear by Vaseline Aloe Vera Body lotion after every shower, my skin feels so hydrated and smooth. Neutrogena Norweigan Foot Cream for my feet. Paw Paw Ointment for my lips and any extremly dry areas on my body. I also received VS Pure Seduction Body & Hand cream as a gift i use this as my hand cream - smells devine <3

This sounds so great! I love just taking a muscle relaxant bath or going to the beach and using the sand as an exfoliant , wet sand of course and then just lounging around in the water! Nothing is more refreshing for me! But I do love the sound and look of those candles! And lip balm! Thanks bh

I have found this to be an aromatic and holistic way to unwind anytime you step into the shower. It a very affordable way to therapeutically pamper yourself! It totally works for me!

These products sound fab. I make sure I add a glass of bubbly to my 'at-home' pampering sessions :)
