The new way to get in shape
Maybe it’s because I’m a typical Leo, or something from my childhood, but I’ve never liked being pushed around by anyone, ever. I guess it’s why I’ve struggled with personal trainers in the past, oh-so pushy! And gyms? Don’t even get me started! Sweating in front of others, sky-high fees and so much time wasted in travel! It’s enough to make anyone throw in the towel.
Then, like a beacon of hope for the unmotivated gym bunny in all of us, came Your Shape, a revolutionary new way to exercise using your Wii. It has a built in personal trainer that lets you choose what area of the bod you want to work on, if you want to burn or tone that region, and even how long you’d like to train for. All the while tracking your progress and suggesting new tutorials to try.
I know what you’re thinking… ‘Ha! What a cinch, I can just bludge, it’s only a screen.’ I’m afraid not beauties, you see, this wonder workout comes with its very own camera, and after it’s done an initial body scan, it films you on-screen, corrects your technique and encourages you all the way through – and with Michelle Bridges from the Biggest Loser on board as ambassador, you just know it’s not for the faint hearted.
What gets you motivated to exercise?
