Kitchen beauty: 3 homemade body scrub recipes

Finding a good scrub is essential for achieving seriously soft and smooth skin. And finding a good scrub that you can make yourself is essential for the savings account. So lucky for you we’ve found three homemade body scrub recipes that tick both boxes and as an added bonus they’re all super easy to make!
COFFEE BODY SCRUB
This scrub is great for waking up the skin (and the brain) and also has cellulite fighting benefits.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup raw sugar
1/4 cup ground coffee
t1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp sea salt
LAVENDER BODY SCRUB
Perfect for a pamper session on a Sunday afternoon, or just before bed, the lavender fragrance of this scrub is ideal for de-stressing the mind while soothing the skin.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup of coarse sea salt
1/3 cup of jojoba oil (you can also use grapeseed or coconut oil)
1 tablespoon of dried lavender
16 drops of lavender essential oil
LEMON AND ROSEMARY BODY SCRUB
For an invigorating scrub that smells and feels great, you can’t go past this lemon and rosemary combo.
Ingredients:
2 cups of white sugar
1 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/8 cup rosemary essential oil
2 Tbsp. baking soda
Method for all:
Add ingredients one by one into a large bowl, mixing as you go. To use the scrub, simply scoop up a small handful and rub all over the body using gentle, circular motions. These scrubs also make great gifts by simply spooning the mixture into a jar, adding a label and wrapping with a festive ribbon.
Have you ever made your own body scrub? Which of the above recipes would you most like to try?

I love using a good body salt scrub, but don't really think using a coffee scrub often is a good idea as it blocks the drain

Simple white sugar and coconut oil is an amazing scrub. Smells lovely and keeps your skin moisturised while you scrub off that dead skin.
